a new workout.

So since running the marathon back in October I have pretty much stopped working out. I will go running every once in a while, but I have basically been a big fat exercise slacker. I decided I needed a new workout, something to get me going again and I think I have found it. While on Pinterest the other day I came across BODYROCK.tv and a 30 day challenge they proposed.

So Sunday April 1st I got my lazy butt up and got started on my fit test. It consisted of doing 7 exercises for 50 seconds each with a 10 second break in between. The following are my fitness test results...

- squat jumps: 27
- push ups: 14
- burpees: 6
- high knees: 132
- switch lunges: 12
- tuck jumps: 10
- straight abs: 7

I'm not sure how my results compare to anyone else, but I am just hoping that by the end of the 30 days they will have improved. Yesterday I did the first workout, I had to alter a few things to my skill level, but I loved it. It was only 12 minutes long, but pretty intense and I have been sore for the past few days. I didn't wake up in time to do my work out this morning so I will have to get it in tonight. I am excited to stick to the 30 day challenge and to get into shape.

good job! I too love body rock tv and was doing it a little before being preggers. I think their bodies motivated me more then their workouts. good luck with everything!

yeah! Go J. I've heard of that, but never tried it. I think we should sign up for some class together that is like 2 times a week to get us out of the house and moving!.
